 Chalfont St Giles Afternoon W. I.
Every month, a group of women meet for an afternoon of relaxation, friendship and the stimulation of hearing an outside speaker on topics as varied as computer literacy, patchwork and keeping owls. Those who are keen on walking get together every month and walk while others meet to discuss gardening or to join in craftwork. There have been excursions to interesting places such as the The Kilroy Programme and Slimbridge and soon to the London Eye, Tate Modern and a James Martin Demonstration. Not a hint of "jam and Jerusalem" in sight ! If this sounds like your kind of thing, why not join us on the second Wednesday of the month when you will be made very welcome, or you may prefer to talk first to our Secretary, Marion Harper, on 01494-873930. The subscription for 2003 is £18.25.
