website, home of the Friends of
Hodgemoor Wood and the Hodgemoor Riding Association?
Hodgemoor Wood is a historic woodland area and a Site of Special
Scientific Interest. The wood is treasured as an amenity by walkers,
ramblers, cyclist and riders from all round the Beaconsfield, Gerrards
Cross and Amersham area, in fact from people all over London and South
Bucks. The web site aims to increase cooperation between users of the
wood and Bucks County Council (who own it) and Forest Enterprise (who
operate it). You can find out here what's going on in the wood, any
issues that arise and future plans. There will shortly be a forum to
share views with other users of the wood.
